Job introduction

Balfour Primary School requires an enthusiastic, committed INA to work with a child in Reception. The Teaching Assistants are a busy and productive team within the School who support our enthusiastic students as well as our vibrant teams of teaching staff. In addition, the successful post holder will support our children at lunchtime. Please see the job description for further information about the roles.

Balfour Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school, part of the Thrive Together School Alliance (TTSA), a small and exciting collaborative group of city-wide primary schools, a secondary school, and a specialist provision school. Located on the Surrenden Campus our extensive shared grounds include a Nature School for all children. We are a large, full and oversubscribed school, reflecting our strong reputation within the community.

HoursThe post holder will be expected to work Monday - Friday term time only. 8:45am – 15:30. This includes a 15-minute break and a 30 minute lunch (30hrs/wk)

Term:  This post is tied to the needs of the child

Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date: As soon as possible
